The Band was initially founded in 2006 but it was until 2008 to become a constant formation of five bandmembers. It was also the year they did a german tour and some open-air festivals in Switzerland and Germany.

Along the way of the band, they consistently recorded demo-material wich they also played live in various venues all over Switzerland. After a change of drummers The Holy Snail recorded their debut EP "It Hurts but it Doesn't Feel Strange" in February 2010 and are now ready to go back on stage again.
